Fetal Fotos Attempt #3

Well...it looks like the 3rd time was a charm! We went into Fetal Fotos last night and Grayson FINALLY decided he was going to cooperate with us!! He was so active, and it was so much fun for all of us to watch. I thought I would share some of the pictures with you guys. I personally think he looks like my cute brother Brad when he was a baby, but we'll see. I have 8 weeks left today!!

Stressful Day

Today is Sunday, August 23, and it was a very eventful/traumatic day. Steve and I went to work Hallmark (at Wal-Mart) to work my hours that I didn't get to yesterday, when all of the sudden I heard a loud thump in the aisle next to me. Steve came running because he thought it was me, but I had already headed to see what was going on. There was a man on the ground having a seizure and his wife was standing over him. He was shaking, foaming at the mouth, and bleeding profusely from his head. He couldn't talk or anything, but his eyes were open and he was looking around, which was a good sign. He kept trying to get up, so they had to hold him down. Luckily Steve was there with me and he held the towel on the mans head to keep pressure on the wound until the ambulance arrived. I felt so bad for he and his wife, so I offered to take their car to the hospital so his wife could just go in the ambulance with him. Steve drove their car to the American Fork Hospital and I followed. They couldn't give us an update on his condition since we weren't family or anything, but I really hope that he (David) is alright...He is only 51 years old. I think it was the scariest thing I have witnessed throughout my whole life.Well that about sums up our Sunday. Yesterday was a good day. My good friends Hailey and Ashley threw me a baby shower. It was so good to get together with all my friends and to just see everyone. Grayson got so many cute things! I have some pictures that I will post tomorrow when I get a chance.

My Work Party - Salt Lake Bee's Game

Today is Wednesday, August 12th, and we just got home from my work party. They had family night with the Salt Lake Bees for all the employees that work for the Larry Miller Group. It was a blast! We had a BBQ before the game and everything. Besides the fact that I was dying of heat and was super uncomfortable, we had a good time. My mom and brothers came with us. I've included a few pictures of all of us. I have such a handsome husband and brothers...and of course, a beautiful mother.

New Blogger

Well this is my first attempt at blogging, so bear with me. I guess I will start with giving you an update on my life as Nicole Jones. Today is Tuesday, August 11th, 2009 and I am currently at work. I work for a company by the name of Landcar Agency. We are part of the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies. I am the Executive Administrator (assistant) for the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Larry Miller Group. It can be stressful here at times, being pregnant and all, but for the most part, it’s a good company to work for and I am very lucky to have this job.

Now back to the fun part...being pregnant. I absolutely love it. The second month was a little tough, because I didn't just have morning sickness...I had 'all day' sickness, but that's over with now and it has been well worth it. I can gladly say that I am eager to do it all again. I am in my 29th week and am due on October 23rd. I am so unbelievably excited to meet him and see what he looks like. I was warned by many that it would be quite tough to make it through the HOT Summer pregnant, but I have been blessed with a body that is always cold. I currently have my heater blaring under my desk and you still find me bundling up in my comfortable blankets to stay nice and warm. It's kind of funny and Steve makes fun of me.

This week, I am looking forward to going to Fetal Fotos on Thursday. I met Steve and my Mom over there last Friday to get some 3D images taken of Grayson, and he wasn't cooperating. So, we are returning there this Thursday with hope that he will cooperate this time around. Wish me luck.
