Wonderful News

I am just full of wonderful news today and feel so blessed. First off, we found out this past week that not only did my husband receive an Addy Award for some of his work that he submitted to them, but he is also being awarded the Advanced Achievement Award for his graduating class at Full Sail University. This award is given to the person who has come the farthest, reached the highest, was helpful with other students and who generally strived to get the very most out of his program. It is only given to one person per graduating class and it was given to my husband! Woot Woot! His hard work has paid off. We weren't planning on attending his graduation ceremony in Florida because we didn't know he would be receiving this award and be speaking at his graduation. So, it looks like we'll be heading to Florida next week. I am so proud of him. Then, there's me! My news isn't as exciting, but I just had a ticket fall off of my driving record and our car insurance just lowered by $70 a month. I feel like I just got a raise! Ha Ha. Life is great. To sum it all up, Grayson just had his first haircut yesterday at 15 months old. How funny is that and how cute is he?! I'm the luckiest Mom and Wife ever!!

BABY GIFT IDEAS

My good friends Justin and Jenny just had a darling baby girl a few weeks ago, so my Mom and I made some cute stuff for them! Just some ideas if any of you have some friends that are expecting!!

Happy Belated New Year!

This post is about 17 days delayed, but we have been so busy! Steve is in his last class of his Masters Program and graduates on February 5th! We are all so excited for him to be done so we can go back to our normal lives and Grayson and I can spend more time with him. Grayson is doing really well, still growing like a weed, walking, and talking like crazy. For the most part we can't understand a thing he is saying, but it's still nice to hear his chatter. He is saying the words Mommy, Daddy, No, and Doggie really well and knows that dogs make "woof woof" sounds. It's super cute. He knows how to say uncle Brad's name, except he calls him "Bad" instead of "Brad." It's really fun watching him learn new things everyday...He doesn't miss a thing and is so intelligent. I am doing good too, I just accepted a new job position, which really isn't much different from what I'm doing now. Over the next month or so, I will transition over to being the executive assistant to the Executive Vice President of Operations for the entire Larry H. Miller Group of Companies. I love my job and am super excited to do something kind of new. LOL. The only downside to this job is I will have to be in the office on Fridays now, so no more spending time with Grayson on Fridays. This is a great job opportunity and comes with many perks. So for now, we feel this is the best decision for the Joneses!

LOVE Blocks

Just in time for Valentine's Day! My Mom and I made these LOVE Blocks last weekend and they are only $28.
