More to come in the upcoming weeks of his first Birthday and Halloween!

My Little Swimmer

This past weekend we went to St. George with my Mom and with the Stevenson's. It was so much fun! Grayson and Micah both went swimming for the first time together! I was kind of nervous for Gray and thought the would absolutely freak out, but he just loved it! He definitely let us know when he was ready to get out though. He even learned how to splash in the water...it was a hoot!

EASTER 2010

We had a very nice Easter this year. We went over to my Dads house for a family dinner and then went to my Mom's house after. Grayson got spoiled as usual and is enjoying all of his gifts.

An Unusual Sunday

Sunday, which is normally a day of rest for me, didn’t turn out to be relaxed in any way. We woke up at about 10:00 and Maggie was acting a little unusual. If you don’t know already, Maggie was pregnant. Back in December, she and Grayson spent the night with my Mom while Steve and I went up to Midway for his work Christmas Party. Maggie, being the little angel that she is, escaped from her soft kennel and made her way to Butters (my Mom’s dog). To make a long story short, she got pregnant. Without giving you any gory details, it was quite clear that she was in labor. We knew from the beginning that it was a possibility she would be too small to deliver her puppies, but we tried to let nature take its course anyways. Finally when there was no progress and puppy number one was stuck, Steve and by brother took her to our Vet. Delivery of the first puppy didn’t turn out so great and it (we’re unsure about the sex) sadly didn’t make it. Luckily, after being given induction meds and a slight incision, she was able to deliver the second puppy with the Vet’s assistance. Back at home, I’m scrambling to get myself and Grayson ready because his baby blessing was at 2:20 that afternoon. Luckily my Dad and Jen and the kids were in the area, so they stopped by to help out. We were cutting it close, but we all made it on time for Grayson’s blessing and nobody had to stay behind. Grayson sure showed the whole ward just how healthy his lungs are, but my Dad got through the blessing and did a wonderful job. The rest of the day went pretty smoothly. We just vegged out and watched the Super Bowl. The half time show was pretty lame, but The Saints came marching in!

A Happy New Year

Today is Tuesday, January 26, 2010, and it's been awhile since I've posted anything. I'll just update you with whats been going on in our family.

Yesterday, my baby turned 3 months old. He may look much older, but he's not! Grayson spends his days with Grandpa Tom and Grandma Jen. He loves them so much and I think so far that things are going well. (Knock on Wood) I really don't know what we'd do without them, they are such a big help.

Steve is doing well and is working for Zagg, Inc. as one of their Graphic Designers/Web Developers. I may have gotten his job title incorrect, so I apologize. Anyways, Steve is actually going back to school next week to obtain his Master's Degree . He will be taking online courses from a Full Sail University, a College based out of Winter Park, Florida. If all goes as planned, he will have his Masters by this time next year! He is super nervous, but I am excited for him and know he will do great!

Now it's my turn and there's not much to tell! I am still working for the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies and I absolutely love it! They treat me so well and I'm lucky to have such a wonderful job in these hard economic times. Also, I am still working part time in the evenings for Hallmark. What I do there is I visit the Wal-Mart out in Saratoga Springs a few days a week and stock up the Hallmark greeting cards, gift wrap, etc. It's quite an easy job and it's nice for me to get away for a few hours in the evening and have some time to myself.

Well, that's enough for today...hope you enjoy the pictures below of our little angel.
